- preserve and propagate Calabrese culture
- broaden relations between Calabria and Australia
- help project a positive image of the Calabrese in Australia and to correct the negative stereotype that is prevalent in the media
- publicise the contribution made by Calabrese in Australia to the development of Australia
- provide young persons with Calabrese heritage information about Calabrese culture
- arrange for a history of the Calabrese in Australia to be written.
